Pillow talk.

Amos:  I get to use Spike as a pillow because you have a built-in one of your own.

Naomi:  Excuse me?!  [pulls head back making dewlap chub more fluffy] ...Well, I guess you do have a point.

***If you haven't yet, please check your voter registration status here:  https://vote.gov/register

States with same day voter registration where you can both register and vote on the same day (scroll down to see the map and state links for what to bring with you):  https://ballotpedia.org/Same-day_voter_registration

Please vote and make your voice heard!

Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend!  We'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.

Sliding into the weekend!

Looks like Naomi is well on her way to having fun this weekend!

One last thing to do this week:  If you haven't yet, please register to vote (deadlines are fast approaching for some states) and if you're already registered, please check on your voter registration status to ensure you haven't been purged from your state's voter list and to make sure all of your info is correct and up to date.

You can do all the above here:  https://vote.gov/register

Hoppy 4th of July!

Naomi and Amos would like to remind you that there's nothing more patriotic than voting, so please register to vote if you haven't yet.  If you already are registered, please check to make sure all of your information is up to date.  Helpful link for all voter info:  https://www.usa.gov/voter-registration

Focus on what matters.

Simon and River hope you all take a moment to protect those you love by registering to vote.  From the local level to the national level, your vote is the best way to let those who we elect to power know how we wish to live and what rights we hold dear.

Other friendly reminders:

  • Check on your voter registration status to make sure it is active (voter roll purges can and do happen prior to elections).
  • Check that your current address is correct on your driver's license/state ID and that it matches the one on your voter registration.

**Set a reminder on your phone to check your voter registration status again a month or so prior to the elections just to be sure your voter status is still active and all of the info is correct.

A friendly reminder.

River:  Are we registered to vote?
Simon:  I'm not sure.
River:  We better check just to be on the safe side!
Simon:  While we're at it, we should request absentee ballots too because it's comfy here and I don't want to get up!

Simon and River just want to remind you to:
1.  Register to vote if you haven't yet.
2.  Check on your voter registration status to make sure it is active (voter roll purges can and do happen prior to elections).
3.  Check that your current address is correct on your driver's license/state ID and that it matches the one on your voter registration.
4.  Request a mail-in (absentee) ballot if you don't want to stand in line on election day or risk COVID-19 exposure.

Here is a link to find your state's election office, where you can do all of the above:  https://www.usa.gov/election-office

You'll want to do this as soon as possible because different states have different deadlines and requirements for absentee ballot requests.

**Set a reminder on your phone to check your voter registration status again a month or so prior to the elections just to be sure your voter status is still active and all of the info is correct.

Simon:  Sounds good!

Thanks for visiting the blog and for registering to vote if you haven't already!  We hope you all have a great weekend and we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.
