Oh no she didn't!

Amos' gasts have been flabbered that Naomi would leap over him as if he were just another part of her obstacle course.

Hullo, Puff!

Also, I totally didn't just knock over Trippy Peep by nose-bonking her too hard.  She just wanted a mid-morning nap!

Bunday morning traffic.

Amos is mildly annoyed that he has to wait to give Mr. Giraffe a nose-bonk hello.

He already said 'hi' to Baab the sheep, so now all he can do is sit there awkwardly and try not to make eye contact with Baab, which would make things even more awkward.  It's kind of like when humans keep running into the same person they just said 'hi' to repeatedly at the grocery store while they do the rest of their shopping...like seeing them in every aisle kind of awkward.

[sigh] Being a polite little bunny is hard sometimes!

Just act normal.

I don't know what shenanigans Amos and Naomi are plotting, but they both really need to work on their 'innocent faces'.

Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend! Stay safe out there and we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.

Giving 'thank you' kisses!

Baab the sheep went with Amos to his vet appointment for his yearly check-up, RHDV2 vaccine booster, and a nail trim. Baab had his back and Amos is eternally grateful!

(Mr. Giraffe was Naomi's vet buddy and has been bunny kissed into a stupor.)

Chaos bun binky.

Poor little Amos had no idea that he was about to be hit by the fur missile that is Naomi.

Binky lift-off!

Amos looks so serious as he launches into his binky.  It was impressive and he got some serious altitude on this one--little bud's been practicing!

Little cookie monster!

Big human, the cookies are up there--gimme some!  Pleeeease.

I mean, the little fella behaved during the cage clean, so I say he's earned it...and the Disney eyes really are hard to resist.

Empty head; no thoughts.

Well, maybe just ball.

Asking the important questions.

How did you get up there, Baab?

(Also, I just love how Amos is sitting like people here with his little paw on the tunnel!)

The struggle is real.

You can tell that Naomi is conflicted about being good and just sitting in the lion cube vs. listening to her inner chaos bun and leaping out of it and startling our little adventure potato as he shakily crawls out onto the slippery floor.

You'll be happy to know that she chose to be good! 🎉

So close and yet so far.

Naomi will not be separated from her kitchen for very long.  The baby gate will be vanquished and she will regain access to the area behind the chest freezer if it's the last thing she does!!!

Funny story about earlier that day:

Chaos bun bolted past me at breakfast time and made a bee-line for the chest freezer ignoring the typical bunny curiosity trap that is the bathroom.  I ran after her and when I caught up, she was in the back kitchen corner waiting for me.  As I popped my head around the freezer, she put her mouth around the freezer's power cord--not biting it, just holding it in her mouth while staring me down.   I screeched, "Naomi, NO!!!" and lurched forward as she dropped the cord, zoomed around me, and launched herself onto the curtains in a 'LOL--I got you good, human!' binky that brought the curtain rod down on me.   As I was fighting with the curtains, she raced back behind the chest freezer in what can only be described as a victory lap before I managed to wrangle her back into her cage for breakfast.  I got to wave to the neighbors in my pj's as I put the curtains back up.  I swear it's like freaking wild kingdom in here some days!
