Well, "artist" is a bit much, but it's what I imagine Simon and River's first foray into space might look like. Simon, caught in his life-line and wishing he was back on the good ship Carrot 1, while River is oblivious to his plight and in awe of the stars around her.
I should also note that this is the February night's sky, so if you look closely at the blue and pink stars, you'll spot the constellations Lepus, Orion, Taurus, Eridanus and the Pleiades.
