Harrumph!

Something about Simon's face in this pic reminds me of a crotchety old man muttering about darned kids and how they should get off his lawn.  I think he would be a bit more polite about it, though.  Maybe mumbling, "Excuse me, little human, but could you please get off my purple towel?  It took me forever to get it just right and now you're wrinkling it and making it smell like human."

Hahaha...I don't think he wants that click flashy thing in his face. His little nose looks so smoochable!

Hi Camelia!

He definitely was a bit annoyed with me that day. His hanging out in the cuddle cube and just randomly digging in it and looking sulky tipped me off he wasn't feeling well. A few hours, a few doses of simethicone, and some critical care later, he was acting like his usual happy goofy self! He got lots of nose smooches for putting up with all of that. :)

Dear Simon Bun,

Another bout of not feeling well? I reported this to the the velvet suited man but I guess the email got redirected. Elvis had no idea what I was talking about and asked if I had any Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwiches on me.

Anyway, I finally got through to the busy bearded one and he wanted me to tell you that he is considering giving you an in-house doctor this Christmas. I did tell him that they won't fit down the chimney and are quite opposed to being stuffed in a stocking (they bite when you try to do that or so we've come to learn). Drink plenty of water and eat plenty of fiber so you don't get sick!

Please tell the hoomin that you can have an early Christmas present of 10 noogies and 3 nose smooches from Santa.

Love,

Helpful Elf

Dear Helpful Elf,

Thanks for looking out for me! I think Elvis should try what the little human makes us for our birthday treat--a banana slice dipped in oats. I'm not ashamed to admit that whenever she makes them, I circle and buzz...they're that good!

The little human thinks I got sick from some other ground plant mixed in the bag of Oxbow Timothy hay we got (there were some really dark brown clumps of grass-like fibrous/stringy plant that she tried to pick out, but I guess some snuck past her). It wasn't moldy or anything, just looked different than the rest of the hay. And it was made of yuck (just like the medicine she gave me)! I'm feeling much better now and the little human is sourcing another hay supplier since this has happened twice in a row now--once with a bale and this time with a smaller bag. I'm being a good bunny and eating my hay and greens (and the Tbsp of pellets the little human gives us now...so not fair because pellets are soooo yummy and I want to eat them all), so no worries there!

Thanks for the noogies and smooches!

Love,
Simon
