It is funny that he really does seem to forget that crucial fact sometimes. Occasionally, he'll get into a snit with her when he feels she's ignoring him, which leads to him thumping at her when she fails to turn around and face him...all because he's chattering at her and she's completely oblivious to the proceedings.
Too true--gotta keep the cotton ball tail all nice and fluffy! ;)
