Merry Christmas!! What did Santa get you, buns?

Dear Simon and River Bun,

First, did you like what I brought you?

Second, you are not going to believe what happened to me last night! So I was somewhere over the Tropic of Capricorn when I got the munchies. Mrs Claus did say she packed me snacks before I left, so I engaged the auto-sleigh and rummaged around for the food. Well, I think Mrs. Claus has gone over the deep end! She packed me smoothies and celery sticks. Smoothies AND Celery Sticks!!! For me! Do I look like I have the physique and constitution of someone who snacks on smoothies and celery sticks?! What's worse is she put something in the smoothie, making it feel slimy like I was drinking puréed Okra.

It was near impossible to find an open fast food place in the South Atlantic, I'll tell you! The Reindeer were all snickering and I think we even passed a flock of whatever those were, and they started honking in laughter at my predicament. Mrs. Claus is already on the naughty list, and it's not even the start of the year!

To quote the Italians, "sono affamato!"

Send food.

Love,

Santy Paws and my grumbling belly

Merry Christmas to you and your family my sweet little River and Simon! I hope you have a day full of so much mirth and merriment as you down snack after snack and play with all your new toys and then fall asleep next to each other on your favorite towel!

Hi Mónica and Tarosagi!

Aww, thank you both so much! The little munchkins had a very merry Christmas and got lots of treats (hidden in some home-made toys), noogies, and tummy rubs. Wrapping paper is also super fun to play with and snuggle into a nap under! :)

Dear Santy Paws,
We loved the presents; thank you very much!
Oh, no--that stinks that you didn't even get yummy snacks for your sleigh trip! We totally understand being subjected to disgusting concoctions we're expected to eat. One time, little human was trying to get us to eat a mixture of oats and mint tea thinking that if we liked them separately, that combining them would be a good idea. It tasted like a bowl full of sadness. The look we gave the little human made her understand that it was the most disgusting thing she's ever made and that she should feel bad for giving it to us. You should try doing that to Mrs. Claus when you see her next...or maybe pee in her shoe, whichever works for you (as we understand that humans seem to have slightly different acceptable ways to show your displeasure than bunnies do).
Hope you found some appropriate nom-noms on your trip!

Love,
Simon and River Bun
