So that's where River was leading Simon, to inspect the realm! I'm sure that Simon takes his job very seriously as River's bodyguard/protector so it's no wonder he's tired and needs a good flop and it looks like River knighted him as well as Sir Flops-A-Lot, an excellent name!
Indeed! I think the only time they get a bit scared is when they flop too hard and start to roll over, then it's all about saving face as if trying to convince both themselves and us that they meant to do that. ;)

Nothing like a good flop to end adventures! I wonder if they get scared when they do this, because they literally look like they are fainting...
