She hip-checked Scoots McGee to keep him away from her celery stalk. Meanwhile, Mr. Giraffe is in the background making no noise and pretending like he doesn't exist in hopes of avoiding a similar fate because he's standing next to the banana chip container.

In love and food there's no friends! I'm glad River doesn't have the same hip power as Simon because she would have sent good old Scoots McGee to the ninth dimension!
The hip check and body shove was Simon’s special move to muscle his way to the treats good to see that River is continuing the legacy, but it does seem like she should learn to share and not shove Scoots around like that! And Mr. Giraffe always cool and level headed I’m sure he used his negotiation skills to avoid being shoved aside by a feisty, hungry little River bun!

River definitely learned from the master and I'm sure Simon is proud of her progress! I always get a chuckle out of how a previously ignored food suddenly gains value when she thinks it's about to be 'stolen' from her (as though she wouldn't get it back/get a brand new one to replace it).
