Giving 'thank you' kisses!

Baab the sheep went with Amos to his vet appointment for his yearly check-up, RHDV2 vaccine booster, and a nail trim. Baab had his back and Amos is eternally grateful!

(Mr. Giraffe was Naomi's vet buddy and has been bunny kissed into a stupor.)

Awww they are both so sweet! I hope they weren't very scared at the vet, I know it can be a very stressful situation for the bunnies.

That's great news! They both got a clean bill of health and got their vaccines to keep them safe, and hopefully they got some treats for all their troubles!

I'm sure having their support system with them the whole time at the vet made their experience less scary!

Hi Mónica and Tarosagi!
They were both very brave at the vet's. Amos passed his check-up with flying colors and is done growing now (he topped out at 3.8 pounds).

Naomi has the beginnings of some spurs on a couple of her back molars that are on the tongue side of her teeth, so the vet wants us to decrease her pellet ration a little bit so she eats more hay to help level them out. She should be done growing now and weighs in at 5.4 pounds, which the vet was happy with given how lanky she is. The vet wants to look at her teeth again in 3 months when we go in for her next nail trim to see if the change in diet was enough to avoid having to put her under anesthesia to have her teeth filed down. He seemed pretty confident that the slight alteration in diet should do the trick, so we're keeping our fingers crossed! He let us know of any symptoms to watch out for (drooling, not eating as much food or only wanting to eat pellets/soft food, change in amount of poo--basically, tooth issues can lead to GI stasis), so hopefully this will help others to know what to look out for.
