The bunnies were uncertain about this strange, cold, white substance, but Mr. Giraffe helped to show them that snow wasn't scary. I'm sure the half-buried carrot slices and papaya bites helped them work up their courage too!
This was as far as Amos was willing to go into the snow. The siren call of the papaya bite couldn't be resisted!
The bunnies enjoyed their new discovery and fun was had by all.

I'm sure they had the time of their lives! I feel so bad for Amos, this poor fella looked so uncertain, I'm so happy he decided to join the fun for a bit! I hope you are not getting too much snow, weather here is unpredictable, constantly raining to the point of a small flood and winds strong enough to send people flying!
Oh what fun they must've had, their first time seeing snow! Amos has the right idea trying to pick around for the treats without jumping in, the poor little guy would probably sink to his head inside the pile of snow!
We got over a foot of snow where I live, if I had a bunny I would definitely give them lots of snow to play in since we got so much of it!
Hi Mónica!
They had a blast! Both of them were very uncertain and kept running around the snow container, not quite sure what to make of it. Once I put Mr. Giraffe in there, they realized that it was safe and got braver and then realized that there were treats, which made it awesome! It really takes a lot for Amos to be willing to jump into boxes or containers. I'm just glad he was a brave little fella and snagged some treats! :)
We ended up with around 6 inches of snow plus another inch of graupel (weird sandy-textured frozen sleet) and a bit of freezing rain, so it made shoveling it today interesting and very heavy! We're out of the danger of power outages now, so we really lucked out with this storm. I hope the weather calms down and isn't giving you grief where you are!
Hi Tarosagi!
They really did! Amos is always a bit more hesitant, but he was brave and the hidden snow treats were a nice little reward for him! Naomi discovered that you can dig in it, though she also realized it was very cold and that Amos had the right idea of just leaning over into it. XD
Yikes! We got about 6 inches with an inch of graupel and some freezing rain, which seeped into the lower layers so when I was shoveling it today, the top 3 inches were pretty solid and I'd have to spear the shovel into the snow to break the crust apart into chunks. That made for some heavy lifting, but the snow was more powdery closer to the ground so it came up easier than I expected. Definitely going to be feeling it tomorrow, though! That's okay, I can just snuggle with the bunnies and enjoy not having to go do that again any time soon. :)
