Naomi was doing her best to snuggle her new friend, Ducky, and claim my knee scooter for herself.
After breaking my ankle on Feb 3rd, big human rushing back from his work trip on Feb 4-5th, Dad's passing on Feb 8th, ankle surgery on Feb 13th (I've now got a bionic ankle with a metal plate and 7 screws), three weeks stuck on the loveseat keeping my leg elevated while trying to help settle some of Dad's estate stuff from out of state, a couple physical therapy sessions, and a week back in Ohio before more physical therapy and a 2nd post-surgical follow-up, it's been a long few weeks! I just wanted to thank all of you for your kind words and support for all we've been going through.

Thanks for the update - missed you guys! I've broken my elbow (one plate, 4 screws) so I can relate to how frustrating joint breaks are. Wishing you a speedy recovery. I highly recommend finding a massage therapist who can help with scar tissue.
Hi Anna!
Oh, I'm so sorry you had to go through that! Thank you so much and I'll definitely look into that.
Hi! Welcome back! I hope you are doing well and have taken as much rest as you needed, it's great to have you guys again!
Hoppy second birthday to two very spoiled little bunnies! Everything is Naomi's of course, there is no doubt about that! Let's wish both buns a lot of adventures with their new friends!
Hi Mónica!
Aww, thanks! I've made a lot of progress with the physical therapy and they are going to show me how to walk with only one crutch at tomorrow's appointment, so the one hour daily flexibility and weight-bearing exercises are paying off! Being fully mobile again will make the Ohio trips much easier to handle and I'm doing everything I can to make that happen as soon as possible.
I'll pass along your birthday wishes and give the little munchkins a papaya bite for you! They're collecting quite the little entourage/partners in crime, aren't they? ;)
