Breakfast is the most important meal of the day!  This little munchkin was definitely enjoying hers.

I do think that River dunks her muzzle in her water dish on purpose so her nose bonks are extra sloppy special.

Feet crossed, fluffy bunny tookus up in the air, paper towel roll as a pillow and slowly munching a ridiculously huge piece of hay that is wrapped around his face.  Somebun's having a good morning!

Our morning ritual.

As soon as Simon hears me come down the stairs, he'll do a dramatic bunny flop and wait for me to give tummy rubs.

Aww yeah--tummy rubs are the best!
He’ll stay like this until I’ve said hello to River (I always get a nose-bonk from her) and then he’ll rouse himself to take a dried cranberry treat from my hand.  Tummy rubs and treats make for a pretty good morning!

River knows that the best way to start the day is with bunny kisses.  I caught our little kiss dispenser giving Mr. Giraffe a peck on the cheek.
