River and I have come to the same conclusion surrounding the untimely 'demise' of Mr. Giraffe. It was Simon, in the living room, with the toy truck. His look of guilt kind of clinches it.
I'm going to have to make her a little deerstalker hat and give her a magnifying glass after she sees your comment! How can she possibly do her best detective work without a costume? :)
