Yeah, River thinks that staying awake for sentry duty is more of a guideline than a hard and fast rule. Simon really did make an excellent pillow!
Very true. I think Mr. Giraffe may be better at sentry duty than River. There's a chance that he may be knocked over in the event of our house being burgled/whatever the bunnies think we need sentries for, which would alert Simon to start 'the thumpening'. Any potential burglar will be so startled that they'll momentarily chuckle in relief that it wasn't a dog and continue of their merry way. I'm not sure how Simon would handle the indignity of that.

well, at least she has a fluffy wall protecting her. She can use him as a pillow.
Mr. Giraffe would be good for sentry duty. His neck is always in periscope mode.
