They are just like that sometimes, my bun (and hammies) everytime there was some toy blocking the entrance to their favorite spot they stopped dead in their tracks like "kay, I guess I'm not allowed in anymore".
It is funny how they'll do that. I wonder if they really do see Mr. Giraffe as almost an equal or something given how they each always nose-bonk him hello. I guess Simon was just giving him his space since he was in the fort first! ;)
