Nom-nom-nom!

River has eaten more today than she has been in well over a week!  Gaining back the weight has been a challenge and she's had to re-tread old ground a bit, but she's getting there. 😁

Thanks for visiting the blog and we hope you all have a great weekend!  Stay safe out there and we'll be back with more bunny cuteness on Monday.

Good job, River bun! That's a good girl! I'm so glad she is on her way to recovery!

Hi Mónica!

Yeah, the eye infection really set her back and she was down to 2.326 Lbs on 9-15 despite 5-6 force feedings per day. 5 mL every 3 hours was the most I could get into her while still trying to give her the opportunity to eat on her own between feedings and overnight. It is such a relief to see her starting to regain her appetite! I'll give the little munchkin a noogie for you and her patient big brother as well. :)

Hi Kirogi!

Sorry for the late reply. Blogger will let you delete a comment if you want to, but not change it once it's posted. No worries--I understood what you meant! :)

Aww, congrats on your little munchkin!

If you have any questions on deaf bunnies, just let me know and I'll try to help. I think you'll find your bunny to be very focused if they are deaf/hearing impaired, so that actually helps when it comes to training them. Just make any hand signal you choose to use clear and consistent (pointing, tapping, etc.) and always make sure you have their attention first. There's been quite a few times I've had to tap River on the shoulder or wave from across the room for her to look at me so she'd know what I wanted her to do.
