Thought we could start the weekend with some baby Simon and River homecoming cuteness!

Wow look how little they were! Even from the very beginning River has always been so adventurous and brave and Simon has always been reluctant and bashful, it's nice to see that River still is very young at heart and gets into so much trouble and mischief to this day, and Simon has become brave and the protector of his little sister.
Omg they were so small! I just love that their personalities were settled the second they appeared on camera! How did River manage to get over Simon to exit the carrier?
It's hard to believe they were barely bigger than a soda can when we brought them home! They usually say that baby bunnies take time to show their true personalities, but Simon and River had no problems just being themselves from the moment we met them.
It was cute how Simon really did his best to block River from exiting the carrier to protect her from us 'bunny-nappers'. He seemed genuinely offended when she just crawled right over him to go exploring! After about 10 minutes, she realized Simon hadn't followed her, she went back to look at him through the holes in the side of the carrier as if to show him she was still okay and that there was all sorts of neat stuff out here. :)
