Mystery solved!

I am really glad that I've been writing down what Simon's been eating and noting the amount/weighing it since he got sick with the ear infection.  Because of that, I was able to figure out that the little guy is no longer able to eat sunflower seeds (we were trying to increase his calories when he wouldn't eat anything sweet).  He had 💩💩💩 5-8 hours after munching on a few seeds on Dec 2 and Dec 6 with signs of improvement in between bouts when no seeds were eaten those days.

Thankfully, after getting all cleaned up Simon was happily munching away on some parsley while listening to sweet tunes from the 80s.  He is a big fan of Tiffany and Michael Jackson if him trying to lick the radio was any indication.

Dear Simon S. Bun,

I know you were simply licking the radio because you thought you were alone now so I won't make any further mention of it.

Please get well soon!

Also, please let me know what you and River would like for Christmas! I am finalizing my list and Helpful Elf is getting ready to assume "me" duties. As usual, you know my preferred snack for when I visit. This year, could you please make it a double? Mrs. Claus has me on the Reindeer Diet and eating shrubs and trees are destroying my teeth and appetite! HALPS!

Love,

Santa Paws

Oh poor baby boy it has been some rough days... But at least he's eating fine and enjoying some... as Santa Paws would put it, tasty tunes. Good job, Simon Bun!

I'm glad to see that Simon is recovering from his tummy problems, seeing Simon scarf down all those greens means he's doing so much better now and him licking the radio is so silly! Glad to see he likes to listen to the tunes!

Hi Santa Paws!

Aww, thanks! Parsley is the one food that always seems to taste good to me, so the little human always makes sure that I have some along with the celery, lettuce, baby food-ground pellet mix, actual pellets, and the occasional cranberry and banana chip (and hay, but that hardly counts as food...much like your Reindeer Diet). I now have the bunny buffet that River had, so I guess I'm winning? Maybe you could convince Mrs. Paws that oatmeal is Reindeer food? That way you can put all sorts of yummy fruit on top!

We have our eyes on a neat maze toy, but we're not entirely sure we have the space in the living room for it. Failing that, we'll go with people just being nice to each other. We will definitely make sure the little human gives you twice the sandwichy goodness this year!

Love,
Simon and River Bun

Hi Mónica and Tarosagi!

Aww, thanks! The little fella needed a bit of force-feeding again today with a small amount of probiotic in it and another cleaning, but nowhere near as badly as yesterday. At least he's drinking more water and is still eating greens and a bit of the baby food-pellet mix on his own. It's a fine line to let him have enough time to try to eat on his own or to decide to force-feed him again.

It was funny--today he managed to pull down the radio. Not sure what he intended to do with it after, but I managed to hide the wires before he could taste purple. Bunny curiosity even when not feeling 100%! :)
