I think this might be the only pic I took while we were visiting family. I spent most of it in a cooking frenzy trying to fill up Dad's freezer with meals he could just grab and heat up (mostly Mom's more complex recipes). 63 meals in 8 days is my new personal record! River totally helped. 😉

Oh my, that's some hardcore cooking! I think River would consider it pointless to help you if she doesn't get to taste all the food. I just love her look in this pic, "So, are you finished now? Or are you too busy not giving me the food?"
River provided a constant supply of cheer by looking incredibly cute to brighten everyone's day!
I'm sure she also knows which fruits and veggies are the freshest and best to use for your dad's meals too!

River's sweet little face at the end of a long day of cooking was just what I needed to start relaxing. She was happy to taste-test the yummy veggies I used for some of the recipes I made, so she practically made all the meals herself! ;)
