Here I was all excited to give River the basil I grew indoors for her and this is peak bun response. I choose to believe that she's savoring its scent before chowing down on it when I'm not looking to avoid any unseemly lack of decorum/table manners.😉

Hopefully she later went back to finish the basil, there's nothing better than homegrown herbs!
Most likely she was unsure whether the basil was decoration or part of the meal and hopefully maybe hiding a treat in one of the leaves will give her the right idea!
They have to check everything first to see if it's up to their refined tastes! Bunnies are very demanding and always want the best of the best!
