The purple towel is a prized possession and too much power for only one bunny so it was a great idea to split the power between two towels, one for each of them!
Now the only problem is to keep River and Simon from going mad with power and wanting to seize each other's towel!
Hi Tarosagi! Thankfully, the bunnies realized early on that if they wanted to go on a war of conquest to claim another purple towel they would have to leave their own purple towel undefended. This resulted in a more or less lasting truce. There were the occasional stray chinnings of each others' towels, but nothing a quick bunny flop couldn't re-claim. :)
