Naomi is seeking legal counsel from Mr. Giraffe, Esq. concerning how much trouble she'd get into if she managed to evade containment and go downstairs to visit grandpa...and explore the rest of the house.
Amos has decided to forego legal advice and is going with the 'better to beg forgiveness than ask permission' approach to vacation home exploration.

What an interesting turn of events, it's usually Naomi who is the daring one that takes no prisoners and shoots first and asks questions later! I'm sure that Mr. Giraffe Esq. was a great source of legal advice and advised Naomi to not admit any fault and not to talk to any humans before legal counsel!
Amos is just so sweet and little and innocent that it would be impossible to ever be mad at him!

They really did want to do both! They got noogies from Grandpa but weren't able to go downstairs (I don't even want to contemplate Naomi on stairs given how prone to running into things she is).

I know, right?! Granted, Naomi would just do whatever she wanted after hearing Mr. Giraffe's advice, but it's the thought that counts...or something! XD
He really is and definitely takes full advantage of his baby-ness to get what he wants!
