Banana chips!
This is how the little fella lets me know he wants candy. He will stare at the banana chip container, look at me, then look back at the container. Sometimes, if he thinks I'm being particularly obtuse, he will nudge my leg and circle around me, then do the staring thing.
We call his banana addiction 'chasing the monkey'. 🍌🐒 🐇

Listen, I know that look, I've been on the receiving end of that look. Do not give in. He knows he can pull it off because he's cute enough, and honestly even I want to give him all the treats he wants. I used to trick my rabbit, when he gave me that look when he had already had his treat minutes ago, I just gave him love, kisses, smooches and pets to my heart's content lol He looked so disgruntled to see his master plan hadn't worked out 🤣
Wow what a smart boy Amos is! I'm glad that he tries to be polite about wanting his banana chips before he starts to nudge at you, but at least he isn't tugging at your leg or scratching to get your attention!
If he showed me his big, sweet, innocent sad bunny eyes, he would be one pudgy little boy!
Hi Mónica!
Lol--I do the exact same thing and he always looks so disappointed in me when he only gets noogies! He'll even cock his head as if trying to gauge if he just didn't get his point across or if I'm "special". 🤣
Hi Tarosagi!
He really is a sweet, gentle boy. At most, when he gets dismayed at his lack of treat-begging progress, he'll put his little front paws up on my leg and give me the Disney eyes. It is hard to stay strong! I've had to get sneaky and taken to only giving them a half of a banana chip each time so they can feel like they've tricked us into giving them more treats over the course of the day. ;)
