Testing the perimeter.

There's a door here.  Help me figure out how to open it!

Shush, Trippy Peep--I could totally jump over this barrier if I wanted to!  I just don't want to right now with the little human watching me.

I could totally make this jump!  I wonder what's behind this tiny wall?

Yeah, that's a banister and is why Naomi is never allowed to be left unsupervised at Grandpa's house. Thankfully, a loud clap and a sharp, "No, leave it!" are enough to prevent this particular type of chaos.

I wonder if you could convince them that the high gate is part of their new and improved bun fort that was built just for them at Grandpa's house so they could have all the adventures they want within the walls, and definitely not to keep them from getting out!

Hi Tarosagi!
I tried, but there was just too much neat stuff and places to hide beyond the high gate for them to be convinced. Best I could do is say that the banana chips are on this side of the gate! ;)

Naomi can definitely make that jump. I think higher walls are much needed! Because of this girl starts thinking she will soon discover she can use the wall as propeller to reach higher!

Hi Mónica!
Yeah, I'm going to have to find some lighter weight panels I can clip to the top of what's currently there. Those playpens are surprisingly heavy (~30 lbs each), so I won't be able to just get another playpen to attach above--I wouldn't trust it to stay put and it would be dangerous if it came down.
Bunny curiosity is hard to protect against!
