It was cute--River was purring up a storm loving all of the attention.  I glanced over a short while later and found her having a nice nap with her buddies.

It was a bit too bright for Simon's nap so River became his personal sleep mask.  He buried his face in her fur and she covered his head with her ear to help block out the light.

Simon decided it was time for a long winter's nap but River was being a little chatter-box.

How can this be?!

River always looks like she's going through some existential crisis when she tuckers herself out but still has lots of playing and exploring she wants to do.  The need for nap-time can really cramp a bunny's style!  Meanwhile, Simon has embraced his inner laziness and achieved nap nirvana.

Mr. Bill seems grateful for the opportunity to have sentry duty during Simon and River's nap time instead of performing his usual job as crash test giraffe.

River was in the middle of grooming Simon when the siren call of a nap took over.  Simon took his role as River's pillow to heart and decided a nap was a great idea!
