Baby danger bun!

This is why we have to look everywhere before moving when Apollo is having playtime.  She loves the 'human tunnel game' and we have to always be on guard to not squish the baby.  (Humans are also fun to climb on, so we're really just a baby bunny jungle gym.)

Peek-a-boo!

Amos wants everyone to know that he is letting me borrow his knee scooter until I'm mobile again.  The scooter and I also make a pretty awesome set of tunnels he loves to crawl under.  It's nice to be included in playtime!

Asking the important questions.

River:  Well, we did a good job horking up the mirror.  Do you want to call it a day?
Simon:  I don't know.  I still have some playtime left in me.
River:  The little human has collected our purple towels, so you only have a few options:

     1)  Use the wood floor as a slip-n-slide.

     2)  Make the little human chase you around like yesterday.

     3)  Cranberry.

Simon:  Ugh, don't remind me!  Guess I'll go with the third option.

Peek-a-boo!

The tunnel really is the gift that keeps on giving.  You can run through it, flop in it, scare Simon by causing a tunnel collapse, play peek-a-boo...so many options!

Heck no, we won't go!

Hey, Simon--If we don't let the little human have our purple towels and toys, playtime will last forever!  [binkies off to play on the couch]

I am Simon J. Bun, lone Protector of Playtime.  The fun ends when I say it does.
All I can say is that it's a good thing that the Protector of Playtime is susceptible to bribery with treats.

Circle the buns!

The bunny game of the day was running in circles.  I have no idea who won.
On a somewhat related note, Simon's little mis-matched feet always crack me up!

Bunday morning.

River is bright eyed and fluffy tailed; ready to face the day.  Simon's lights are on but no one's home; asleep standing up.  Five minutes later...

"My door is open!  When did playtime happen?!  River, wait for meeeee!!!"
Well, better late than never.

I did not realize I was 'home base' until I ended up with a lap full of bun.

Simon and River always race to claim a favorite toy during playtime.

This makes me happy.

River is a bun on a mission trying to make up for all the perfectly good playtime she lost out on while she was sick.  She played with all the things, did lots of binkies, ran the Bunny 500 and had some serious snuggle time with Simon.  Life is good!

You're going on a guilt trip!  This is the look Simon gave me and his attempt to stop the end of bunny playtime because it was time for the little human to go to bed.  I love how he thinks if he holds onto the towels, playtime will last indefinitely.
