Floppin' Friday!

The bunnies are trying to convince one another of the superiority of their chosen flopping spot.  Simon is showcasing the fluffy softness and scrunch-ability of the blue towel while River is demonstrating the classic style and roominess of the black rug...or they're lazily mooning their respective mirror buns.  It could go either way.

This is Simon asking for permission to hop up on the couch.  I had moved there to give them more room to run, but the little guy was in search of noogies.  Who could refuse that little face?

The look on Simon's face would indicate that they were about to start some bunny shenanigans.  My guess is they were plotting their next divide and conquer attempt.

Bunny condolences.

Our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of those who lost their lives yesterday in London.  We wish the injured a speedy recovery and would like to thank the police for their help in keeping people safe and to the first responders and local hospital workers for helping save the lives of the victims.  Our thoughts are with you.

With a surprise morning tribute of banana, the Big Human secures #1 human status.  It's amazing how such a little thing can completely brighten their day.  May you all find your personal 'banana' that makes you as happy as these two!

I think one of River's life goals is to get all of the kisses.  Poor little fella almost got bowled over by her enthusiasm.

Science is fun!

Simon is performing an experiment to see if happiness is contagious.
His happiness dispersal technique consists of having me post a photo of one of his more epic binkies captured during playtime.  He considers a smile/grin, a laugh/chuckle/happy noise or warm and fuzzy feelings to be a positive result.  So far, with a sample size of 2, his research looks promising!

Don't be a meanie.

River was little Miss Prissy-Pants and got time-out for not letting Simon play in the bunny cave.  Here she is apologizing to a sulky Simon bun.  After River gave some heart-felt snuggles and kisses, all was right with Simon's world again.

Simon looks on in dismay as River figures out the perfect angle to parkour off the wall and over her cage so she can gain access to the food room (and land in big trouble).  It's common knowledge that all of the treats come from there, so if she can get in, all the yummy things will be hers.

Looking on the bright side of things, River knows how to share but her concept of autonomy needs improvement.
