Hmm it looks like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I'll just sum it up what I wrote and say, I'm thoroughly enjoying your blog.
I as well am an aspiring blog blogger but I'm still new to the whole thing.
Do you have any tips for novice blog writers? I'd genuinely appreciate it.

Hi Anon!

Sometimes blogger can act a bit odd at times and not show comments. I saw this comment of yours in my e-mail and noticed it didn't show up, so I had to mark it as 'not spam' to make it visible (not sure why it ended up in that folder), but I couldn't see the first one you tried to post. It could be that blogger was having issues at the time you tried to comment or if you tried to add a link, in which case the comments don't support them even if it's the blogger adding it in the comment section.

Thank you so much--I'm so glad Simon and River can brighten your day a bit! :)

As for tips, if all of the content on your blog is your own making, definitely make sure to decide how many posts per day or week you want to do and can be consistent in providing your viewers. Having a specific day and time for your viewers to expect a post is very helpful. Sometimes it helps to have a few posts ready to go for whenever life happens (you get sick, go on vacation, family visits, etc.) and you can just schedule it to post ahead of time. I'm not sure of what type of blog you want to start, but be true to yourself. If you find something funny or feel something needs to be said, then do so. Sometimes it will resonate with your audience and sometimes it really, really won't (no matter how much effort it took you to make the post that fell flat). Whatever the response, learn from it and keep posting but keep being yourself by keeping the same tone and sense of humor as you did before. You'll have to accept that sometimes posting things out there is a bit like shouting out into the void. If you're lucky, you'll have some viewers that will provide feedback but realize that those that do are probably about 10% of the total viewers of your blog (at least that's been my experience). Good luck in starting your blog and I hope this helps! :)

Dear Simon and River,

I am just taking a short break from a Quality Assurance meeting with the Production Team for this upcoming season. I am pleased to say there are a few products that are coming along quite nicely!

There's an expandable Cuddle Cube with 'nana dispenser and cold/warm floors depending on the season, there's a fur brush massager that feels like you are getting a head rub, and I am quite pleased with the new all organic "wires" that bunnies can chew which actually give vitamins and all that good bun stuff! I did have to decline the production of a How-To Manual called "Getting Behind The Entertainment System: A Guide For Buns" as well as the "How To Hide From Humans and Give Them A Heart Attack with Worry". The Elf responsible for that one has been, uhm, counseled....yes, counseled.

Anyway there's only 175 days til I come visit so be good you two!

Love,

Santa

Dear Santa,

We're intrigued by your recent discoveries! You definitely need to give your R&D team extra oats and bananas for their ground-breaking research triumphs. River would like to request the contact info for the elf you 'counseled'...for quality assurance purposes...don't ask--she's just being 'thorough'.

Love,
Simon and River
