We were discussing giving the bunnies a special treat before bedtime when Big Human glanced over to see Simon with his ear up listening very intently to our conversation.
In case you were wondering, cantaloupe was the bedtime snack for tonight.

Dear Simon D. Bun and River S. Bun,
It is coming to that time of the year again and I wanted to check in with you to see if you have any requests for gifts.
As you know, the Elves and I are ramping up the production line and getting ready for deliveries soon. Happy Elf has recovered from cosmetic surgery to look like me (jelly belly included) so he can take my place when the wife insists on going on a 3-month tropical vacation this January!
Have you two been very good buns this year? The elf responsible for keeping track had a system glitch and wiped out a good portion of their files so I am relying on your honesty to tell me. I eagerly await both of your responses!
Remember to always take your medicines and eat healthy!
What a nosy bun! My good man Simon was just minding his own business until he heard the word "treat", then he became emotionally invested in the conversation!
Simon might be a lop but when treats are involved he's all ears! He'll prop up his ears like antennas to get the best signal to find where those treats are!
Ooh it's Santy Paws, Christmas is practically here!
Oooh--Genius move with having Happy Elf act as a decoy on the tropical vacation! You'll finally get to relax and not have to worry about sunburn and sand in places where it isn't supposed to go.
We have been very good little buns and the system glitch was totally random and not caused by anybun hacking into your naughty/nice tracking system...promise!!!
We have our hearts set on world peace, but since that's a pretty tall order, we'd be thrilled with people just being nice to one another more than they're not. Also, bunny treats would be good too!
We'll try to be better about the little human giving us medicine and eat all of our meals so we can be on your 'good' list this year!
Hopefully, you'll get some time to relax even with all the business of the holiday season. Remember to nap like a bunny and pace yourself with the cookies!
