The picture of contentment.

River looks a bit jealous that two bunnies can't fit in the oat container tunnel at the same time.  Simon looks pretty content with this situation.
This pic makes me laugh every time I see it.  For some reason, it reminds me of Winnie the Pooh stuck in Rabbit's House.
Ah, it still has that new oat smell!

Thanks--glad you liked it! :)

He definitely was a happy little bun while in the oat container! I thought it was funny that he didn't go all the way through it and then went in reverse to get out of it when he got tired of staying in there. He can actually walk through the tunnel, so I don't know what he was thinking when he did that.

I've been looking for a small but long cardboard tunnel similar to your oat container but the only one I've been able to find measures 8" x 48" from Home Depot.

Slowly but surely I'll upgrade Bun's play area. Sigh!

Well, the oat container in the pic is 5" x 9.5" if that helps--not sure how big your bun is, but that or a long soda box may work.

We had an old cut down Quickrete tube for our old bunny Penny that she liked to play in. It helps if you have a handsaw to cut the tube down into useable sizes.

I did a quick internet search for mailing tubes, but those are really expensive and tend to be smaller than what I've already listed. I did find this on Amazon that may work (it's only around $10, not sure about shipping): Catty Stacks Crawl Tunnel for Cats, Brown. It looks like a decent-sized (6" x 18")cardboard tube that you could connect to other stuff if you wanted to. I've not personally bought one, so I can't say anything as to quality, but it may be worth a shot.

I also had a small cat cave thing with the carpet over it for my first bunny, Pip, and he loved hiding out in it. The only concern I'd have is if your bun decided to chew on the carpeting that they glue to them (Pip never tried that, so I was okay letting him play in it). Hope some of these suggestions help!
