River is an unrepentant shoe thief. She went around and chinned every last shoe and slipper she could find, then decided to stare me down as if challenging me to try to take them back.

River controls all the shoes on the floor and all the pieces on the chess board, there are no winning moves left, best thing to do is give her a treat so she’ll call it a draw and return all the shoes! Well played River!
So true--River is a master at human manipulation and we should really stop trying to win against her because we just keep embarrassing ourselves. Good thing we have a plentiful supply of papaya bites! ;)
Then wachu wating for?? Chin her so she knows that the shoes belong to her, but she belongs to you, so you own the shoes. She won't see that one coming!

Lol--I have done that before just to see what she'd do. So much confusion and then it became a chinning game kinda like tag. XD
