So nice of River to relieve Simon of his sentry duty, and give him some kisses as he lulls to sleep. I'm sure River will do a great job, I wonder what it is they're guarding or watching out for?
They are always so loving and cuddly with each other! My favorite trait of Simon is that when he lays down you can see his potato bod but then he has tiny feetsies!
Mostly, I think they do sentry duty to let us know if anything in the living room has been moved even a centimeter out of place. River seems to focus more on shoe movement and is our advanced spider detection system (the little arachnophobe is a bun after my own heart). Simon thinks any change compared to his mental map of the living room is a thump-worthy occurrence. ;)
They really are! Simon is such a little sweet potato bun! The little guy knows how to get his tummy rubs by doing this. :)
